Infant Bodywork
Involves gentle, hands-on manual therapy techniques that encompass a range of practices aimed at nurturing a baby's physical and emotional well being.
The Goal
The goal of Bodywork is to address soft tissue restrictions, body alignment, and release the fascial tension to allow for more mobility, optimal function (feeding, sleeping, pooping, playing), nervous system regulation and healing.

The Benefits
Improvements in feeding, sleep, digestion and mobility. Bodywork can improve tummy time tolerance, reduce and reverse head flattening, and diminish torticollis. It can help a baby be more comfortable and even reduce reflux, constipation and colic symptoms.
Our therapists are experts in infant bodywork and address function and mobility through many manual and functional therapies and modalities as well as through therapies to address strength, coordination and motor planning as baby learns to use their body efficiently once the tension has been released.
